CARF Advisor at Start Network

Start Network is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CARF Advisor to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding our organization through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and enhancing the overall quality of our services. This position requires an in-depth understanding of CARF standards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments to implement best practices.

As a CARF Advisor at Start Network, you will:

  • Actively participate in preparing documentation
  • Conduct internal audits
  • Provide training to staff to maintain our accreditation status

Responsibilities

  • Advise and guide the organization through the CARF accreditation process ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with CARF requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement related to CARF standards.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation required for the CARF accreditation submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide training and support to staff on CARF standards and accreditation processes.
  • Monitor changes in CARF regulations and update organizational practices accordingly to maintain compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CARF surveyors and facilitate accreditation site visits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with CARF accreditation processes within the accounting or related industries.
  • Excellent knowledge of CARF standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse teams.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits and preparing accreditation documentation.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and document management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a commitment to quality and compliance.
