Looking for a Chemical Engineering Job with a global company? Cargill is hiring a Process Engineer in Kātkumbh, India. The Cargill Process Engineer will support manufacturing operations by improving equipment and processes, conducting production tests, analysing process variables, and contributing to cost-effective and reliable plant operations. Candidates with an engineering degree in Oils/Chemicals and relevant experience can apply.

Job Purpose
The Cargill Process Engineer role involves applying engineering techniques to assist in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products. In this role, technical support, operations experience, continuous improvement, and project management skills are provided in a plant support capacity that ensures safe, efficient, and low-cost plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality and reliability.
- Assesses current manufacturing equipment and processes and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Helps to fix and repair equipment. Shows results in reports.
- Helps in conducting tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, specific gravity, pressure, and viscosity.
- Helps process engineer analyse capital expenditures and project designs to find more efficient, cost-effective approaches, which promotes higher quality and reliable outcomes.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Oils / Chemicals with relevant experience.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications.
- Possesses working knowledge of engineering subject matter.
- Use of PI (data historian), ACAD (AutoCAD), MS Project programs.
- Project management experience gained through prior experience.
- Minimum of five years of related work experience.
- Experience with Green Belt, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
