Job Opportunity
We are currently looking to recruit a Cargo Operational Assistant within our Express Operations Department, based at HEATHROW AIRPORT.
Hours: Mon – Fri 10:00 – 18:30 Flexible
Salary: £26000.00 PA
Location: ACP office area at Courier Facilities Ltd, Building 580/1, Sandringham Road. TW6 3SN.
Closing date: Wednesday 30th September
Job Description
We are looking for an on-site Cargo Operational Assistant to support the day-to-day requirements of our airline cargo operation within the express industry. The role will largely involve capturing and accurately entering information from paper and electronic documentation into various airline and cargo handling systems, together with communicating with customers, airline representatives, and internal operational teams.

Working within a busy and time-critical air cargo environment, you will help ensure that shipment information is processed accurately and efficiently, supporting the smooth movement of import and export cargo through the operation.
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
A flexible approach is essential, as the role will include providing additional support and cover during periods of annual leave.

Responsibilities
- Transfer data from paper formats into airline systems.
- Alerting the Airlines of final load information.
- Liaising with both Customers and Airlines in terms of space and allocations.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents and updating existing data.
- Sort, scan, and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure no items are missing.
- Working within Airline systems, Training provided.
- Assisting within our warehouse operations (Not Manual Handling).

Requirements
- Knowledge of the Airline Cargo industry not essential.
- Experience within the airline industry preferred but not essential.
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware with a good knowledge of MS Office.
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good telephone manners.
- Ability to communicate with others.

- Health & Safety training (Provided)
- Level EU Security Training (Provided)
- Five years traceable employment & education history.
