Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in Horsham. The Carpenter will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, carrying out first and second fix carpentry, framing, and finish carpentry to a high standard. Daily responsibilities include interpreting drawings, measuring and cutting materials, assembling structures, installing doors, windows, cabinetry, and bespoke joinery items produced in the workshop. The role involves safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools, collaborating with site teams, and maintaining a tidy, safe work environment. The Carpenter will also support the joinery workshop when needed and contribute to delivering projects on time and to specification. Salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

  • CSCS Card
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications, with good measuring and layout skills.
  • Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry or joinery, or equivalent proven experience.
  • Understanding of site safety practices, manual handling, and safe working procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team on active construction sites.
  • UK driving license and ability to travel to local sites in and around Horsham.
