CARPENTER REMEDIAL WORKS
£25.00£26.00 per hour | Clevedon, Bristol | 2-Week Contract | Start 19/10/2026
Harbron Recruit are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter to join a commercial remedial works project in Clevedon, Bristol, starting Monday 19th October 2026.
The role will involve ceiling, partition and general carpentry remedial works within a commercial environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced 1st or 2nd Fix Carpenter looking for a well-paid, short-term contract with the potential for further work through Harbron Recruit.
The Role
As a Carpenter, your duties will include:
- Suspended ceiling installation and remedial works
- Metal stud and timber partition construction
- Boarding and finishing works
- General 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Remedial and refurbishment works
- Reading and working from drawings and specifications
- Working alongside an established site team
- Maintaining excellent health and safety standards

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Experience with ceilings and partitions is essential
- Valid CSCS Card essential
- Own tools and PPE
- Ability to read drawings and work to specifications
- High standard of workmanship
- Reliable and hardworking
- Recent, checkable references
- Right to work in the UK
- DBS check preferred due to the environment and location of the project
