At Pomerleau, we work every day to build the living environments of tomorrow. To support our logistics operations and construction projects across the Greater Montreal area, we are looking for a CCQ Carpenter who will contribute to the maintenance, fit-up, fabrication, and repair of temporary facilities and construction support equipment.
Reporting to the Logistics team, you will play a key role in maintaining and modifying jobsite containers, trailers, and temporary installations from our Sainte-Catherine Logistics Centre, while also providing on-site support to projects as needed.
What you will do
- Perform carpentry, fabrication, maintenance, and repair work to support logistics operations and construction projects.
- Participate in the setup and modification of jobsite trailers, site complexes, and temporary facilities.
- Build and modify temporary offices, partitions, doors, windows, countertops, shelving, and custom-made furniture.
- Repair and maintain containers, trailers, and other construction support equipment.
- Repair doors, ramps, stairways, flooring, and various temporary structures.
- Modify and customize containers according to project-specific requirements.
- Install hardware, storage systems, supports, lockers, and other site equipment.
- Travel to jobsites throughout the Greater Montreal area to complete installations, maintenance work, and repairs.
- Support project mobilization and demobilization activities.
- Complete work orders and service requests using the organization's systems and processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
- Assist in reducing unnecessary transportation of containers and trailers to other facilities by performing repairs and maintenance locally at the Sainte-Catherine Logistics Centre.

This role could be for you if you have
- A valid CCQ Carpenter competency card.
- Experience in construction, maintenance, renovation, or fabrication of temporary facilities and structures.
- The ability to read basic plans and execute quality workmanship.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally to jobsites across the Greater Montreal area.
- Strong teamwork skills and a customer service approach when supporting internal project teams.
