Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in UK wide. The Carpenter will carry out a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, installing structural elements, and completing finish carpentry such as doors, trim, and cabinetry. Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and using hand and power tools to construct, install, and repair wooden and related structures. The role involves collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, maintaining a safe and tidy work area, and ensuring all work meets company quality standards and relevant regulations. The Carpenter will also support refurbishment and fit-out projects, contributing to timely project completion.

- NVQ level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery required.
- Strong core Carpentry skills, including experience with structural and general carpentry tasks.
- Proficiency with Hand Tools and Power Tools used in commercial and residential carpentry.
- Experience in Framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
- Skill in Finish Carpentry, including installation of doors, skirting, architraves, and bespoke joinery.
- Recognized carpentry qualification or apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Commitment to safe working practices and familiarity with relevant health and safety standards.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a site team.
- Previous experience in commercial or multi-sector construction projects is an advantage.
