Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter/Joiner role based in Pudsey. The Carpenter/Joiner will work on residential and commercial construction projects, including installing structural framing, doors, windows, floors, and built-in furniture.

- Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing wooden components, and carrying out finish carpentry such as trim, skirting, architraves, and cabinetry.
- The role involves using a range of hand tools and power tools, reading and interpreting drawings, and collaborating with site managers and other trades to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- The Carpenter/Joiner is expected to maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all site health and safety procedures.

Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills, including experience with structural framing and finish carpentry.
- Proficient use of hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels, planes) and power tools (e.g., drills, nail guns, circular saws).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Experience working on residential and/or commercial construction sites, with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills, time management, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of and commitment to health and safety standards on construction sites.
- Relevant carpentry/joinery qualification or apprenticeship, or equivalent practical experience.
- Full, reliable transportation to travel to the Pudsey site and other locations if required; CSCS card is an advantage.
