Carpenter / Joiner | Domestic Property Services

£80K - £125K per annum earnings | Paid Weekly | Full time, on-going subcontractor position via limited company.

Due to increased workload and our current team being fully booked for the foreseeable future, we are currently recruiting for Carpenters / Joiners to join us on a full time basis as a sub-contractor partnership, offering earnings of over £100K per annum, paid on a weekly basis. As the Carpenter / Joiner, you will be responsible for working on a mobile basis across London, carrying out minor repair works, through to bespoke joinery, extensions, kitchen & bathroom fitting etc.

Works

  • Minor repair works may include; fire door installations, hanging doors, shaving down doors, door closures, ironmongery (locks, handles, brackets etc), skirting boards, wooden flooring, timber frames, fixtures and fittings, shelving etc.
  • Larger works may include; bespoke wardrobes, bespoke shelving units, staircases, kitchen fitting, bathroom fitting, erecting various wooden structures, roof pitching etc.

Overview

  • Status: Sub-Contractor via limited company.
  • Earnings: £62.50 per hour on-site. average earnings; £2,000 - £3,000 weekly.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm on-site.
  • Environments: Domestic - privately owned and high end homes.
  • Location/s: London / M25.
  • Pay schedule: Weekly (1 week in hand)
  • Company van provided (free of charge), alongside insurance, road tax etc.
  • Contractor must pay for their own fuel and parking costs.

Requirements

  • Must be a qualified and experienced Carpenter / Joiner (time served is accepted as well as formal qualifications).
  • Must hold a minimum of 5 years experience as a Carpenter / Joiner.
  • Must have fantastic customer service experience, alongside experience working within privately owned domestic households.
  • Must be able to pass a DBS check.
  • Must have 9 points or less on your driving license.
  • Must be comfortable quoting for small works, repairs and minor projects.
  • Must have or be willing to open a limited company.
