Construction Jobs Hub focuses on making it easier for carpenters and other trades specialists to access high-quality opportunities and develop their careers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Carpenter will perform day-to-day tasks such as reading and interpreting drawings, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures. Responsibilities include framing, installation of doors, windows, and flooring, and executing finish carpentry work with attention to detail and safety. The role involves regular use of hand tools and power tools, collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Carpenter will be expected to follow all site safety procedures and meet project deadlines and quality standards.

  • Strong Carpentry skills with experience in residential or commercial construction
  • Proficiency in Hand Tools and safe, effective use of Power Tools
  • Hands-on experience with Framing and structural woodwork
  • Demonstrated ability in Finish Carpentry, including precise installation and detailing
  • Understanding of construction drawings, measurements, and building codes
  • Commitment to health and safety practices on-site; CSCS card or equivalent certification is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a site team, with reliable time management
  • Relevant trade qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in carpentry
