Description
DAC Beachcroft is looking to appoint a Case Administrator to join our Casualty Injury team in Birmingham.
Our Casualty Injury team focuses on Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims, with claims valued up to £100k. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, with full training provided, and play an important role in supporting the handling of a diverse range of EL/PL claims.

What you will do?
As a Case Administrator, you'll provide administrative support to fee earners handling litigated EL/PL claims, helping to ensure files are managed efficiently and client service standards are consistently met.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and maintaining case files accurately and efficiently.
- Preparing, reviewing and processing legal documentation and correspondence.
- Updating case management systems and ensuring data is recorded accurately.
- Monitoring and managing key deadlines.
- Assisting fee earners with file administration throughout the lifecycle of a claim.
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Supporting financial administration, including trust balances and billing-related activities where required.
- Liaising with clients, third parties and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Ensuring work is completed in line with client SLAs, protocols and firm procedures.
- Identifying and escalating any risk, compliance or operational issues as appropriate.
- Maintaining an awareness of the firm's strategies, processes and best practices.
- Attending training sessions and continually developing technical knowledge and skills.

Who you are
- Previous administrative experience, ideally gained within a legal, insurance or professional services environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and case management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive and positive approach to work.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Resilient and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
