Overview
WK Webster is looking for a Case Assistant to join our Ports & Terminals Liability Claims Team in Sidcup. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone who is looking to build a long-term career within the insurance industry.
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will provide administrative support across a range of marine liability claims, helping to ensure cases are processed efficiently and accurately. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in developing their career.

Following a successful probation period, hybrid working is available with only 3 days required in the office per week. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
How you'll make an impact
- Register new claims and maintain accurate records on internal systems
- Upload, save, and organise claims documentation and correspondence
- Support the team with general case administration and document management
- Monitor shared inboxes and assist with incoming enquiries
- Liaise with internal teams, including Accounts, to support payment processing and financial administration
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation
- Support the efficient day-to-day running of the Ports & Terminals Liability Claims Team
- Participate in structured training and development with the opportunity to progress into a Case Handler position
About You
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- An interest in building a long-term career within insurance and claims
