The Role
We are looking for an experienced, self motivated and detail oriented Case Management Developer to join our Professional Services team. This is a hands on implementation and development role focused on designing, configuring, testing, and deploying client solutions within Matters.Cloud. Working closely with clients, consultants, project managers, and technical teams, you will translate business requirements into practical system solutions, helping law firms improve efficiency through technology and automation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading technical discussions, designing workflows, configuring solutions, and delivering successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
- Configure and customise Matters.Cloud to meet client requirements.
- Design and build workflows, automations, forms, templates, and business rules.
- Configure matter structures, stages, key dates, notifications, roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Create document templates and data capture processes.
- Ensure solutions align with client objectives and best practice.

Client Delivery & Consultancy
- Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Gather and clarify requirements from legal and operational stakeholders.
- Translate business processes into practical system configurations and workflows.
- Present solutions and implementation recommendations with confidence.
- Build strong client relationships throughout delivery.
Testing & Deployment
- Perform configuration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects.
- Deploy and validate configuration changes.
- Support go-live activities and post-implementation assistance.
- Maintain implementation and release documentation.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with legal technology, AI, and automation developments.
- Contribute ideas that improve delivery and platform capability.
- Help develop reusable templates and solution accelerators.
What We're Looking For
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in implementing, configuring, or developing legal case management systems such as Clio, LEAP, Actionstep, ShareDo, Peppermint, Proclaim, Visualfiles, or Liberate.
- Experience within a law firm, legal technology vendor, or consultancy.
- Strong understanding of legal workflows and matter management.
- Experience configuring workflows, automations, forms, templates, and business rules.
- Experience with integrations and data migration projects.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Confident client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to gather requirements and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
