Case Manager | City of London, Office Based | Up to £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Own the file, the process and the pace - be the person brokers trust to tell them the truth about where their case really stands.
About the Company
Our client is a specialist bridging and refurbishment lender based in central London, writing short-term secured loans against residential and commercial property across England and Wales, funded through a mix of institutional lines, private investors, equity and their own managed fund. A team of around fifteen, their differentiator is speed with real substance - issuing genuine, credit-assessed conditional offers fast, and building the process discipline to back that promise up.
About the Role
As Case Manager, you will take ownership of each file from the moment a broker confirms they are proceeding, managing quotes, KYC, valuations, the legal workstream and completion, through to handover to portfolio management. Underwriters own the risk decision - you own the process, the file and the pace. This is a genuinely hands-on role within a small, fast-growing lender, with case management widely seen as the natural route into underwriting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
