Let Us Tell You a Bit About The Opportunity

A Case Manager will support the Credit Managers by working directly alongside them throughout the process of the loan application. They will be copied in on all correspondents with the sales team, brokers, borrowers, valuers, asset managers & solicitors.

What will your day look like?

  • Carry out a pre-underwrite of loans for Credit Managers (CM’s) and assist them on all types of loan applications.
  • Run a pipeline of Level 1 loan applications (UK borrowers, bridges, refurbishment loans, purchase & refinances) taking the applications through to completion.
  • Provide support to the CM’s with their pipelines, reviewing underwriting and legal requirements, legal documents, valuations and drafting internal tools and forms in readiness for completion.
  • Communicate with brokers / borrowers and maintain good relationships with them and other 3rd parties.
  • Supervise the Credit Analyst team ensuring workloads are monitored and tasks are completed in a timely manner and assisting with overflows.
  • Monthly reporting on applications whereby refurbishment tranches are applicable, liaising with borrowers for updates on loans, ensuring works are on time & budget.
  • Instructing and reviewing the asset manager reports on receipt, invoices and bank statements and preparing the approval forms for approval of drawdowns.
  • Overseeing the Asset Manager panel, ensuring service levels are maintained.
  • Liaising with borrowers with regards to nonpayment of monthly interest and ensuring payments are met within agreed timelines.
  • Liaising with borrowers and brokers to ensure loans are repaid prior to expiry of the term.

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience within property finance, specialist lending, underwriting or case management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail when reviewing valuations, legal documentation and lending requirements.
  • A proactive approach, taking ownership of cases and driving them through to completion.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with brokers, borrowers and third-party professionals.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and customer outcomes.
