We’re Blind Veterans UK, a charity that helps vision-impaired ex-service people from every generation rebuild their lives after their sight has been affected. Founded in 1915 by Sir Arthur Pearson to help the many veterans losing their sight during the First World War, we have over a century of experience providing the very best care and support.
Since then, we’ve supported tens of thousands of vision-impaired veterans, helping them regain their independence and providing the tools, skills and confidence they need to lead fulfilling, active lives.
We’re one transformational team that believes every vision-impaired veteran should be able to lead the life they choose.
We are now looking for a Case Study Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As a Case Study Officer, you will lead the creation and management of our case study library, helping us share stories that raise awareness, drive engagement and support our charity’s objectives.

Working closely with colleagues across marketing, communications and fundraising, you will develop and maintain a varied library of case studies, ensuring teams can access and use relevant stories effectively.
You will also help produce and adapt written content for different audiences and channels, generating ideas and supporting the planning and use of case studies across the charity’s communications activities.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure all case studies have the appropriate consent
- Contribute to the development of our communications strategy
- Monitor and evaluate the use of case studies
- Attend in-house and relevant external training courses
- Ensure GDPR and PCI DSS compliance across all activities
About You
To be considered as a Case Study Officer, you will need:
- Experience working in a marketing, communications, media or content team
- Demonstrable experience of sourcing, gathering and writing stories for internal and external audiences
- Experience of building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- A strong understanding of what makes a compelling story
- Excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational, planning and project management skills
- A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience
