Caseworker Opportunity at Public Sector Organisation in Edinburgh
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit Caseworkers until 27th March 2027 on a rate of £19.12 per hour (PAYE).
Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload, responsible for processing of applications where a legal representative is appointed, ensuring full and correct information is included.
- Agree with the legal representative the point at which they wish the application to be submitted to the client for determination of any award, and carry out any further work with the applicant that the client requires if they do not feel they have adequate information to allow them to make a determination.
- Responsible for sharing the outcome decision with legal representative.
- Responding to general enquiries in relation to applications from both applicants and legal representatives.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to help continuously improve processes and provide a high level of service.
- Working closely with administrative staff, case workers and unit managers to offer day to day support.
- Work flexibly as part of a team to perform other tasks as required.
