Role: Cash & Working Capital Manager
Location: Leeds, LS15 8GB
We operate a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days a week in the office based at Thorpe Park, Leeds.
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum DOE, plus up to a 10% discretionary annual bonus, plus extensive benefits
Contract type: Permanent
Employment type: Full time
Working hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week. We work on a core hours principle. Our core hours are 09:30 - 16:00; you can work around these to suit you!

About the Role
The Cash & Working Capital Manager is responsible for overseeing cash management, liquidity and working capital performance across the Group. This role will provide clear visibility of cash flow, banking arrangements, debt facilities and forecasting, ensuring the business maintains appropriate funding and meets its financial obligations.
Working closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations and senior stakeholders, the role will support effective cash management, drive improvements in working capital performance and provide insight to inform business decision-making. This is a commercially focused position with a key role in supporting operational efficiency, financial resilience and the Group’s ongoing growth objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage cash management and working capital activities across multiple group entities and bank accounts.
- Prepare and maintain short-, medium- and long-term cash flow forecasts, providing visibility of group liquidity requirements.
- Monitor daily cash positions and support the effective deployment of cash across the Group.
- Maintain banking relationships, including oversight of bank accounts, mandates, signatories and online banking access controls.
- Support the management of debt facilities, including covenant monitoring and lender reporting requirements.
- Produce working capital reporting, dashboards and key performance indicators, including debtor days, creditor days, inventory days and cash conversion metrics.
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Commercial and Operations teams to identify opportunities to improve working capital performance.
- Provide regular cash flow and liquidity reporting, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of processes, controls and governance frameworks relating to cash management and working capital.
- Provide finance support to business projects, acquisitions and financing activities, ensuring cash management considerations are effectively incorporated.

Who We Are Looking For
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Treasury qualification (ACT)
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to use financial and operational data to support decision-making
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop practical solutions
- Ability to work proactively, identify emerging requirements and take appropriate action
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the business.
- Curious and inquisitive mindset, with a willingness to challenge constructively and contribute to continuous improvement
- Significant experience in cash management, treasury or working capital-focused roles.
- Experience operating within a multi-entity group environment
- Strong understanding of banking arrangements, debt facilities and financing structures.
- Experience developing and maintaining cash flow forecasting models
- Experience managing banking relationships and online banking platforms
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and reporting capabilities
- Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders across Finance and operational teams
- Experience within a private equity-backed, acquisitive or fast-growing business desirable
