Responsibilities
- Post bank transactions into the SAP system daily, as well as clear transactions through clearing accounts to account for FX and match payments to payment runs or intercompany transactions
- Maintain entity/regional mailboxes and action any ad hoc queries in respect of cash and cash postings
- Raise manual journals as necessary
- Respond to queries/request from external auditors
- Support the wider business in reconciling manual payments out of the bank, ensuring all are coded to correct GLs
- Perform routine bank reconciliations of both bank and loan accounts, resolving any differences timely
- Support in the monthly intercompany payment procedures, whereby intercompany receivables and payables are settled on a group basis and appropriate payments, postings and clearances are actioned.
- Perform routine survey reports and submit these to the appropriate authorities, with manager support

- 3+ years’ experience in accounting and finance including cash experience preferred
- Experience in global scientific/pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.
- SAP experience highly desirable.

The position also requires the ability to build and maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross functionally with Finance Business Partners and various Finance Centres of Excellence.
This position is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from the Speke, Liverpool office.
