As the UK's largest independent vehicle solutions provider, we support some of the UK's best-known brands through leasing, fleet management, and mobility services. We're proud of our people, our award-winning service, and our bold ambitions to make mobility smarter, greener, and better for everyone.

We're Looking for a Cash & Funding Operations Manager

We're looking for a Cash & Funding Operations Manager to lead a key area within our Finance Shared Services function. Reporting to the Head of Finance Shared Services, you'll play an important role in protecting Zenith's financial integrity, ensuring operational excellence, and developing a high-performing team that delivers outstanding service across funding and cash operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance operations leader who enjoys improving processes, developing people, and working collaboratively across a complex, fast-paced environment.

What's The Role

As Cash & Funding Operations Manager, you will lead the teams responsible for cash allocation, bank reconciliations, vehicle funding operations, and associated financial controls. You'll ensure critical finance processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed service levels, while playing a leading role in the ongoing development of the function. From automation and process redesign to standardisation, controls enhancement, and operational performance improvement, you'll help create a more efficient, resilient, and future-ready operation.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Cash & Funding Operations team.
  • Overseeing vehicle funding activities and relationships with funding partners.
  • Ensuring funding schedules, funding drawdowns, and associated processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Managing cash allocation, cash management activities, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitoring operational performance through KPIs, quality measures, and service levels.
  • Ensuring issues, exceptions, and escalations are resolved effectively and efficiently.
  • Owning the weekly Unfunded Vehicles Report and supporting the reduction of unfunded vehicle values and ageing.
  • Maintaining robust controls, audit trails, and governance standards across all activities.
  • Ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting requirements.
  • Managing operational risk and identifying areas requiring corrective action.
  • Acting as a key contact for internal and external audit activity relating to cash and funding operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
