Role Description
This is a full-time remote Cashier role focused on supporting legal bookkeeping operations for law firm clients. The Cashier will process incoming and outgoing payments, record financial transactions accurately, and reconcile accounts in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include handling electronic payments, maintaining detailed transaction logs, verifying documentation, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports. The role also involves responding to client enquiries related to payments, coordinating with the team to resolve discrepancies, and ensuring all cash handling adheres to compliance standards. The Cashier will work closely with the wider team to support smooth, organized, and audit-ready financial processes.

- Strong numerical skills, including accuracy in recording transactions and reconciling accounts
- Knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles, with the ability to follow structured financial procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and common office software tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks with consistency.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and responding to client queries.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience working in a legal finance environment essential.
