Location: East Kilbride Multi-Franchise
Hours: Full-Time
We are looking for a Cashier/Accounts Assistant to join our team in our East Kilbride Multi-Franchise site.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile all payments taken on site daily
- Perform a weekly credit control review and where necessary, communicate any issues with the Accountant and relevant Manager
- Monitor Sales Ledger accounts for posting errors, unallocated posting and any other issues
- Processing and reconciling all Manufacturer bonus debtors
- Preparing paperwork for cashback and finance settlement payments
- Petty cash control
Securing The Long-Term Efficacy Of The Site
- Ensure the efficient administration of clerical and reporting procedures throughout the department
- Ensure that accounts administrative systems and methods are efficient and adhere to Company as well as manufacturer guidelines
- Consistently make sure all weekly, month-end, quarterly and yearly deadlines are met
- Have an awareness of legislation surrounding the Accounts Administrator role
- Perform consistently, even under pressure

As this role will involve day to day interaction with both site and Group Management, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a positive and proactive attitude to managing a high volume of work and conflicting priorities calmly and effectively.
Excellent IT skills including proficiency in all MS Office applications particularly MS Excel is also essential. Knowledge of Keyloop Autoline and a background in the motor trade, though not essential, would be a distinct advantage.
