CASS Audit Manager
Join a growing Financial Services Audit team with an exciting and expanding portfolio of FCA-regulated clients, including investment firms, payment institutions, e-money institutions, and insurance intermediaries. Led by a highly experienced leadership team with strong Big 4 pedigree, this is an excellent opportunity to develop specialist expertise in CASS and regulatory assurance while accelerating your long-term career progression.
This role would suit an established Audit Manager or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to step up into their first management position. You'll gain exposure to a varied client base, take ownership of complex engagements, and play a key role in the continued growth of the Financial Services offering. For those seeking broader exposure, the role can also include a mix of CASS, safeguarding, and external audit assignments.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of CASS audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Lead risk assessments and evaluate key CASS controls
- Review client money, custody asset, and safeguarding arrangements
- Design and review substantive, analytical, and controls-based testing
- Prepare and review reports, findings, and audit documentation
- Act as a key contact for clients, building trusted relationships
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members
- Monitor budgets, deadlines, and engagement profitability
- Identify opportunities to add value and support business development activities
- Stay current with FCA regulations, CASS requirements, and industry developments

About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Current Audit Manager or experienced Assistant Manager seeking progression
- Strong Financial Services audit experience
- Proven CASS audit experience, particularly CASS 6, 7, and 8
- Good understanding of FCA CASS rules and safeguarding requirements
- Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge
- Experience managing teams and reviewing work
- Commercially aware with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality client service
