CASS Operations Specialist
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
Industry: Banking / Financial Services
Salary: £60,000 - £63,000 + Excellent Benefits
An established and rapidly growing financial services organisation is seeking an experienced CASS Operations Specialist to join its Banking Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CASS professional with a proven track record in Client Money and Custody Operations to join a regulated organisation where you'll play a key role in safeguarding client assets and maintaining compliance with FCA CASS requirements.
The Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining strong operational controls surrounding client money and custody assets, ensuring compliance with FCA CASS regulations while supporting daily operational activities.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing client money and custody controls in accordance with FCA CASS requirements
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly client money reconciliations
- Processing custody settlements and transfers, including Euroclear
- Monitoring client asset segregation and escalating any issues
- Maintaining CASS Resolution Packs and operational documentation
- Supporting internal and external CASS audits
- Processing payments, settlements and client withdrawals
- Investigating reconciliation and settlement exceptions
- Contributing towards operational improvements and automation initiatives

About You
You'll ideally have:
- 5-8 years' experience within CASS, Client Money or Custody Operations
- Strong knowledge of CASS 6 and/or CASS 7
- Experience within a UK regulated financial services environment
- Exposure to Euroclear and custody settlement processes
- Excellent reconciliation experience
- Strong Excel skills
- A proactive mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
