As a Casual Bar Host, you'll be at the heart of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our residents. This casual evening role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and making every visit to the bar a memorable one.
What you'll be serving up...
As a Bar Host, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for residents and visitors within our bar and café environment.

- Serve drinks, snacks, and refreshments with a friendly and engaging approach
- Build relationships with residents, remembering preferences and helping everyone feel welcome
- Assist with the general cleaning and tidying of the work environment
- Support team members with various duties as required
- Help with the receipt, storage, and replenishment of stock and supplies
- Operate tills and handle cash accurately in line with company procedures
- Assist with the delivery of quizzes, themed evenings, live music events, and other activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Follow health and safety, food safety, and licensing guidelines and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, visitors, and colleagues

- Confidence in engaging with people and building positive relationships
- Patience, kindness, and enjoyment of working with older people
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts

Bar or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
