Casual Bartender at The Hansom
As a Casual Bartender at The Hansom, you will deliver exceptional bar service by preparing and serving high-quality beverages while creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience. You will demonstrate excellent product knowledge, maintain consistent brand standards, and engage confidently with guests through strong service skills and storytelling. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to premium service and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient, friendly, and consistent bar service across all shifts.
- Prepare and serve beverages to the highest quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Support stock control by minimizing wastage and reporting shortages as required.
- Drive sales through upselling, strong product knowledge, and guest engagement.
- Participate in promotional activities and seasonal menu offerings.
- Assist with cocktail preparation, menu execution, and new beverage initiatives.
- Ensure the bar mise en place is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times.
- Maintain accurate cash handling, till use, and transaction procedures.
- Engage guests through warm service, knowledge sharing, and brand storytelling.
- Work collaboratively with the bar and wider hotel team to maintain a positive and professional working environment.
