We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and energetic Casual Activity Leader to join our team at Westbury Infant School, supporting children across our Breakfast & After School Clubs.
At Junior Adventures Group, we're not just about childcare β we're about creating amazing experiences for children, every day! From sports and creative activities to games, friendships and snack time, you'll help make every session fun, engaging and memorable.
This is a casual/bank position, with shifts available to help cover:

π Club Hours
Breakfast Club:
π
7:30am β 8:45am
After School Club:
π 3:00pm β 5:00pm
As this is a casual contract, you will not necessarily be required to work every session. Shifts will be offered according to the needs of the club and your availability.
There may also be opportunities to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and provide additional lunchtime cover, subject to availability.
π¨ What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver fun, exciting and age-appropriate activities including multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games and creative play
- Supervise and engage with children, ensuring every child feels safe, welcome and included
- Encourage positive behaviour, participation and independence
- Set up engaging play spaces and help maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment
- Prepare snacks and refreshments
- Manage sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Support children's wellbeing throughout each session
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures
- Work positively as part of a team and take the lead when required
- Communicate professionally with children, parents, colleagues and school staff

Previous experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, playwork or youth work is desirable but not essential.
π Important Information
Due to the rural location of the school, applicants must have their own transport and be able to travel reliably to the setting for all required shifts.

All roles require an Enhanced DBS check and Children's Barred List Check and are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
