About the Role
The Office Opps Team are looking for people to join our pool of casual Business Support staff to work on full time assignments across the authority. We can offer work in a range of clerical, administrative, data and business support roles. Assignments are council wide, and applicants must be willing to work at any location within the city to meet the requirements of their assignment.

Office Opps Essential Requirements:
- Experience of providing efficient and effective administrative/business support
- Good working knowledge and experience of using a range of office processes, procedures and systems
- Extensive experience of using the MS Office suite, and ability to use in house IT systems
- Experience of planning and organising own workload and be able to work flexibly in a pressured environment
- Ability to work accurately, and produce quality documents from standard formats/maintain accurate records using a range of IT applications
- Ability to use initiative to identify and actively resolve problems, knowing when to escalate these
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of people at all levels in a range of formats
- Good understanding of customer service, with the ability to deal effectively with conflict/difficult situations as they arise
