Roster: Casual | Various days and hours

Cater Care is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at one of our key business and industry sites in Burton.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment. You’ll assist with food preparation, sandwiches and light meals, customer service and general kitchen duties, helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, including sandwiches, light meals and snacks
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Restock food, supplies and service areas before, during and after meal periods
  • Complete dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen and dining areas
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness while supporting smooth daily operations

About You

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in kitchen assistance, food preparation, hospitality or customer service; catering experience is advantageous
  • Reliable, positive and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision
  • Well presented with a strong focus on personal hygiene and professional standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-focused approach
