If you have an interest in a catering career with Fife Council, why not join one of our many teams within West Fife. We currently have several vacancies to join our busy team of Commercial Caterers at Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline.
These posts are casual posts, working as and when required in the Café.
Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline
The Cafe is open 7 days a week from 9:30am to 4:00pm – hours would be during this time. Working as and when required Monday to Sunday daytime
- You will earn £13.64 per hour casual staff receive payments in lieu of annual leave for hours worked and have access to a range of benefits, including:

This work is about providing customer service, in a busy catering environment. Ensuring visitors to Lochside Cafe are catered for accordingly – this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and beverages to clients and recording any payments.
General kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround and equipment.
On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.
The Person
Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential.
Being able to work in various team dynamics or working on your own and being able to use your initiative is advantageous.
You may be asked to work at short notice.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
