Hourly Rate
£11.00-£12.71 NLW
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation at all times.
- Ensure all food preparation tasks are carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
- Receive and store deliveries, checking for quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
- Participate in the preparation of mise en place to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements
- Previous experience or training in a similar kitchen role is an advantage.
- Passion for food and commitment to developing your culinary skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Understanding of basic hygiene and food safety practices.
- Flexibility to work casual shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks as required.
