We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Conference & Events Associate to join our team on a casual basis. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests.

As a Conference & Events Associate, you will play a key role in the delivery of conferences, meetings, weddings, private dining events, and special occasions. You will ensure that event spaces are presented to the highest standard, guests receive exceptional service, and every event runs smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event suites according to event specifications.
  • Welcome delegates, guests, and event organisers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Serve food and beverages during conferences, meetings, weddings, and events.
  • Ensure all event areas are clean, organised, and presented to the highest standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to guest requests.
  • Support with room turnarounds, furniture movements, and event breakdowns.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of hotel facilities and services.
  • Follow all health and safety, food safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Reception, and Sales teams to deliver seamless events.

What We're Looking For

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, banqueting, restaurants, or bars is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Hours

This is a casual position, offering hours based on the needs of the business. While regular hours cannot be guaranteed, shifts will be offered when available. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays depending on business levels.
