We are looking for Casual Conference & Events Worker to join our team and support the smooth running and operation of our meetings, conferences, banquets and social events.

What you’ll do

  • Assist with the set-up and preparation of conference, meeting and event spaces
  • Help deliver food and beverage service during conferences, meetings and events
  • Welcome and assist guests, ensuring they receive a warm and professional service
  • Respond to guest requests and support the smooth running of events
  • Replenish food, beverages, equipment and event supplies as required
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout events
  • Assist with the clearing and resetting of rooms between meetings and events
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure events run efficiently and to the required standard
  • Adapt to different event requirements and changing priorities throughout the shift
  • Support the team in creating memorable experiences for our guests

What we’re looking for

  • A great communicator who enjoys working with people
  • A friendly, approachable and outgoing personality
  • A positive and flexible mindset
  • An organised and reliable approach to work
  • A strong eye for detail and pride in presentation
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities
  • Previous hospitality, events or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
