This is an exciting time for Accommodation Services as we seek to continue to provide high quality services alongside delivering value for money. Our vision is to shift from traditional institutional type settings to more enabling models that focus on promoting independence rather than accelerating dependence.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Casual Day Services Assistant based within Cwmni Dda Day Centre. The successful applicant will have experience working within Social Care and supporting people who are living with Dementia.
Our team at Cwmni Dda, endeavour to understand the specific and evolving challenges faced by people living with dementia, utilising a feeling-centric approach. Our team must be able to provide professional and compassionate support for both the people who use our Service and their loved ones. The reasons why people attend our Day Centres are varied and sometimes complex. Consequently, it is crucial that we are person-centred, empathetic, and respectful at all times.
We are interested in hearing from people who can be dedicated, reliable, innovative and can use their own initiative. You will be provided with an induction, ongoing training, and supervision to carry out your work effectively.
