What will you be doing?
We have Casual Front of House vacancies working across our Academy Village Canteen and Pavillion building at our Staplewood Campus and at St Marys Stadium supporting on First Team matchdays. Across these roles there’s the option to work, during the day, evenings and weekends.
Please see below for a summary of what is required within each role:
Academy Village Canteen
- You will make and serve hot snacks such as toasties and jacket potatoes, sell confectionary and serve teas and coffees to Academy players, staff and parents from both home and away teams.
- You’ll be required to set up, serve and clean down on your own so must be happy working independently.
Training Ground Pavillion
- Setting up and serving breakfast, lunch and some pre matches in the 2 dining rooms in the main pavilion building, one dining room for the first team players and supporting staff, the second for academy squads and women’s first team and women’s under 21’s.
- After each service you’ll be clearing down and setting up for the next service and doing a room refresh.
- Most of the time you’ll be working with a small team so must be a team player and have good communication skills.

St Marys Stadium
- Supporting and assisting the catering team on home matches for the men’s first team.
- You’ll be required to help set up and serve the pre match and post-match meals and after the game serve the families and supporting staff in the designated areas in the stadium.
- Again, you’ll be working alongside a small team so must be a team player and have good communication skills whilst maintaining professional boundaries with the players.
Across all sites the following tasks will required:
- To assist with the management of the food stock on-site
- Adhere to all COSHH procedures.
- Manage waste and stock rotation ensuring wastage report is completed and reporting any discrepancies to Head
- Ensure that any food and liquor orders that you place are accurate, stocks are kept to a minimum and that wastage is always minimised.
- Take payments on a PDQ and submit sales on the till system, including end of shift report.
- To ensure that all stock on site within your area of responsibility is kept safe labelled and always stored correctly.
Is this you?
You’ll need to be able to cope well under pressure, have good organisation and communication skills and the ability to multitask is essential.
