Casual Gallery Host

Goodwood Art Foundation

Rate of pay: £13.68 (for under 21s) to £14.24 (for ages 21+) per hour. Rates are inclusive of holiday pay.

We're looking for enthusiastic and engaging Casual Gallery Hosts to join the team at the Goodwood Art Foundation.

As one of the first people our visitors meet, you'll play an important role in bringing the Foundation to life. Whether you're welcoming guests, sharing information about our exhibitions, supporting tours and events, or helping visitors connect with contemporary art, you'll ensure every visit is both enjoyable and inspiring.

This is a varied, visitor-facing role that would suit someone who enjoys meeting people, has a natural curiosity, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Welcoming visitors to the Goodwood Art Foundation.
  • Sharing information about exhibitions, artists and artworks in an engaging and accessible way.
  • Helping visitors explore and enjoy the galleries and wider Foundation site.
  • Supporting tours, events and education activities when required.
  • Answering visitor questions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assisting with Reception and Retail activities during busy periods.
  • Helping maintain a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Goodwood Art Foundation at all times.

What You'll Bring
