We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Kitchen Porters to join our team at Sunderland Greyhound Stadia.

Sunderland Greyhound Stadia is a premier racing venue, hosting thrilling greyhound action five days a week—Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

We offer a top-tier hospitality experience, featuring private boxes and restaurants, making us a popular destination for racegoers, celebrations, and corporate events.

Key Responsibilities For The Role

  • Ensuring workspaces and public areas remain clean and tidy throughout and after service.
  • Carrying out cleaning duties as needed, always following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.
  • Operating and maintaining the plate wash and pot wash machines, including daily cleaning.
  • Assisting with stock rotation and safely storing food in line with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Using cleaning chemicals when required, while following PPE and safety guidelines.

What is casual work?

Casual work is a great solution as it enables you to work flexibly around other commitments in your life. Once you have registered your interest, we will contact you in advance to offer you department-based shifts at racedays or hospitality functions. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
