We are looking for a Lifeguard to join us in transforming our business from 'good' to 'great'! This is a thrilling time for our company, and we need a key team member like you to help us achieve unprecedented success.
What does the role involve?
A hands-on role that requires you to:
- Undertake lifeguarding and operational duties as directed by the Duty Management Team
- Welcome and assist customers with general enquiries
- Use the Horizon HELLO in all customer interactions
- Understand and be knowledgeable about our products and services
- Maintain and monitor all facilities to ensure cleanliness is paramount and always free of hazards
- Responsible for ensuring customers are treated with respect
- Responsible for ensuring staff are treated with respect
- Responsible for the safety of all customers and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
- Set-up and take down of sports equipment according to schedules
Skills and competencies:
- Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
- Excellent team player
- Flexible approach to undertaking assignments given
- Approachable
- Physically fit
- Good communicator
- Adaptable
Your Experience
- Experience of working in a customer services environment
- Experience as a Lifeguard in a wet and dry centre
- First Aid
- Manual Handling

- RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- HSE First Aid Qualification desirable
- Certificates in COSHH & Health & Safety desirable

This role will be based at Waterlooville but will be expected to travel to other company sites as the need requires.
Interview Process:
The recruiting manager will review your CV and if shortlisted, you will be invited to a formal interview/assessment process where we will evaluate your suitability for the role.
The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
