What you'll be serving up…
As a Casual Matchday Staff Member, you will help deliver a fast, friendly and high-quality food and drink experience for supporters and guests at Saracens Rugby Stadium. Working across retail outlets, bars, kiosks, fan zones and mobile units, you'll serve customers, prepare products, process payments and support the smooth running of matchday operations.
- Providing excellent customer service by welcoming customers, taking orders accurately and promoting available products and offers
- Serving food and drinks to specification, ensuring correct portions, presentation and temperatures
- Operating tills and card payment systems accurately while following cash-handling procedures
- Setting up, replenishing and maintaining retail outlets, bars, kiosks and service areas throughout events
- Supporting opening, peak service and closing duties, including cleaning, stock returns and preparation for future events
- Working closely with supervisors and colleagues to deliver a positive, efficient and professional matchday experience
- Following food safety, allergen, hygiene, licensing and responsible alcohol service procedures at all times
- Maintaining clean, safe and well-presented customer and work areas
- Carrying out age-verification checks and reporting any issues, hazards or incidents promptly
- Following all health & safety procedures while protecting stock, cash, equipment and venue reputation

- A positive, customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when interacting with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work quickly, accurately and calmly in a busy event environment
- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to matchday and event work
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive and professional attitude
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, bars or events is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and carry out practical tasks including setup, replenishment and cleaning
- Commitment to food safety, allergen, licensing and health & safety standards
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and major event days as required
