Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:45am–9:15am and 2:45pm–4:15pm, as and when required on a casual basis

Do you enjoy driving, are you reliable and responsible, and would you love to play an important part in helping children get safely to and from their school?
We’re looking for a Mini Bus Driver to join our team on a casual basis, providing safe and reliable transport between two local schools and our Oak Tree setting for our Breakfast Club and After School Club.
This is a small but extremely important role. We anticipate that you may only be required for an average of 1–2 shifts per month, but your support will make a real difference to our team, our children and their families.
What you'll do day-to-day:
- Drive our 8-seater mini bus safely and responsibly between two schools and our Oak Tree setting.
- Provide morning transport from the schools to the setting for our Breakfast Club.
- Provide afternoon transport from the setting back to the schools following our After School Club.
- Work the following split shifts, as and when required: 7:45am–9:15am and 2:45pm–4:15pm.
- Ensure children are transported safely and arrive at their destination on time.
- Carry out appropriate checks of the vehicle and report any concerns promptly.
- Maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner when interacting with children, families and colleagues.
- Follow all relevant safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures.

- Someone who is reliable, responsible and punctual.
- A confident and careful driver who takes pride in providing a safe service.
- Someone who is comfortable driving an 8-seater mini bus.
- A friendly and professional person who enjoys working around children.
- Someone who understands the importance of safeguarding and keeping children safe.
- Previous experience working with children would be beneficial but is not essential.

A small role with a big impact
Although this role may only involve an average of 1–2 shifts per month, it is an extremely important position. Your availability will provide valuable cover for our existing driver and help ensure that our Breakfast and After School Clubs can continue running smoothly for children and families.
