Casual Racing and Event Steward at Fontwell Park

Customer Service and Event Support

We are now looking for additional casual workers to join our team at Fontwell Park. We value the contribution of all our workers, as they are the people who turn our customer experiences from great to fantastic.

Fontwell Park is one of Britain’s most distinctive jump racing venues and home to the UK’s only remaining figure-of-eight jump course. Our varied calendar includes afternoon and evening racing, family events and major fixtures such as the Southern National and Boxing Day Racing.

Race days form the core of our calendar and are when the majority of shifts are available. There may also be opportunities to work at conferences, private functions and other non-racing events held at Fontwell Park.

Set within 20 acres of beautiful countryside and with stunning views over the city and English Channel, Brighton Racecourse has the huge benefit of a fantastic setting to accompany our exciting events.

For over 250 years, Brighton Racecourse has hosted racing, with The Prince of Wales (George IV) encouraging its popularity in the late 1700’s and allowing the racecourse and city to thrive. Now is great time to get on board and were looking for committed and dedicated staff to thrive with us.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
