The Copthorne Hotel Slough Windsor is seeking Casual Receptionist who will be responsible for:
- To accurately register guests into the hotel, as well as check guests out of the hotel, making provisions for when the system is down for audit, maintaining records of transactions to be posted onto the live system
- To efficiently respond to any guest enquiries and by communicating effectively to colleagues and superiors
- To assist the Shift Leader by undertaking miscellaneous additional tasks, for example, checking market codes, passport numbers and nationality
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that guests' first impressions are of a courteous and professional Reception team
- To be fully cognisant with the hotel computer system and apply the knowledge in the most appropriate manner according to the guest requirements
- To have full knowledge of Hotel room rates and policies as applied to guest, and to actively earn revenue for the hotel
- To process non-arrival reservations, researching the booking to make sure it is accurate in all respect
- To be familiar with the Hotel door key system, to issue accurately to guests, ensuring keys are cancelled where necessary; and to liaise with Security if guests have problems when accessing rooms

Key Information:
Role: Casual Receptionist
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working hours: Flexible
Requirements:
- Experience with Opera Cloud/ Opera preferred
- Confidence in guest interactions
- Large-scale hotel experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Capacity to complete tasks within deadlines and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure
