Casual Recreation Assistants - Ref: EE07926
G2: £13.05 per hour
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed leisure professionals to join our valued and supportive team to help us achieve our goal of "More People, More Active, More Often".
We require Recreation Assistants in our leisure centres, to work on a casual basis. You will be part of a team that is highly motivated, providing safe supervision of Walsall leisure facilities for the local community.
The role will involve:
- the setting up and down of equipment
- supervising pools in a lifeguard capacity
- preparing for functions, events and gala's
- helping customers with their enquiries
- assisting customers in their participation of activities ensuring their safety at all times
- general cleaning duties
Applicants should have experience in the service industry and hold an up to date RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification - when submitting your application, please attach a copy of the qualification as part of your supporting information. Failure to do so could lead to being removed from the process.
You will also be expected to be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
