Role Description

The Internal Hires Coordinator works 6 hours per week during Term-time organising stores and coordinating the hires process, overseeing meetings, rentals and issuing invoices. The Assembly Rooms team are looking for a suitable student, dedicated to supporting both student and North East theatre, who will gain practical experience of working in a position of responsibility as part of a professional team.

  • Managing all bookings and rentals of theatre furniture, props, costume, and some limited technical equipment including lighting fixtures.
  • Being present for all theatre hires and returns.
  • Managing a booking calendar for hires.
  • Issuing invoices for non-Durham Student Theatre clients.
  • Working with the Theatre Graduate Intern and the wider Performing Arts team to ensure facilitation of student theatre runs smoothly with respect to equipment
