Role
Responsibilities
Technician/Laboratory Support Assistant
Casual Grade 5
Under instruction and following appropriate training:
- Prepare, set up and dismantle equipment and other materials.
- Work with colleagues to construct equipment which will meet requirements.
- Effectively plan, prioritise and respond to ensure an effective, timely service is delivered.
- Respond to queries and deal with problems, escalating issues as required.
- Clean, check and maintain equipment.
- Update records and provide information and data as required.
- Work with internal and external contacts to deliver a service.
- Provide advice, instruction, demonstration and guidance.
- Contribute to effective health and safety practices.
- Work with colleagues to identify and implement improvements to working activities.
