Hyatt Regency Birmingham is ideally located in the heart of the city centre, adjacent to Symphony Hall and within walking distance of the International Convention Centre (ICC), Brindley Place, and the Bullring shopping centre. This contemporary four-star hotel offers direct access to the vibrant canal-side area and is a short stroll from Birmingham New Street Station. The hotel features 319 spacious guest rooms and suites, 12 versatile event spaces, a modern restaurant, a traditional pub-style bar, and a luxurious spa with an indoor pool and fitness centre.
The Role
As a Casual Therapist in our Amala Spa, your main responsibilities will include delivering a wide range of professional beauty and spa treatments — including massage therapy, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, and waxing (aesthetic services). You will ensure every guest receives a relaxing and personalised experience in line with our spa standards.
You will also support daily spa operations by preparing treatment rooms, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting with guest enquiries.

This position offers flexible working arrangements on a casual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional spa and beauty treatments safely and consistently.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the spa.
- Prepare and restock treatment rooms to ensure they are guest-ready at all times.
- Upsell and promote spa services and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and wellbeing standards.
Qualifications
About you:
You will have previous experience working as a therapist in a high-standard spa or hotel environment, along with the relevant qualifications. With excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, you will be warm, professional, and attentive. We are looking for team players who are proactive in their duties and passionate about delivering exceptional spa experiences.
