Wait-On Staff

Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Newport, TF10 9AT

Salary: £8.00 - 12.71 per hour

Schedule: Flexible hours, typically including weekday evenings and weekend day and evening shifts.

As a Wait-On Staff colleague in our Hospitality team at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, you’ll help deliver exceptional food and beverage services across a variety of events, functions, and hospitality settings. Your contribution will help create memorable experiences for customers, visitors, and athletes using our world-class facilities.

Whether you're supporting a sporting event, conference, or special function, you'll take pride in delivering excellent customer service while helping us impact a better future through care, trust, and high-quality experiences.

What you’ll do as a Wait-On Staff

  • Assist with the setup and preparation of hospitality areas, events, and functions
  • Deliver food and beverage service to customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Support basic food preparation activities in line with food safety requirements
  • Clear and reset dining and event spaces efficiently and safely
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer care
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a world-class customer experience
