Nursery Assistant
Location: Harpenden Day Nursery & Preschool Employer: Part of Grandir UK Pagination: Part-time, Full-time & Agency options available Salary: £10.85–£12.71 per hour (with regular pay reviews) Contract: Permanent (older contract set between Grandir & individual; adjustments negotiated pre-posting per person to employer as required)

About Our Nursery
Our trovely Harpenden early years education setting combines a homely environment within a beautiful converted house, set in a scenic yet accessible residential neighbourhood.

Key Responsibilities
As part of your duties, you will:
- Supervise children while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Help prepare and support a range of developmental activities, in collaboration with Level 3 qualified practitioners
- Create an engaging and secure environment where children thrive
- Maintain knowledge of and adhere to company policies, safeguarding procedures, and health/safety compliance
- Build trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Attend staff meetings, training, and planning sessions when required
