Warwickshire Community FC Youth Football Coaches
Warwickshire Community FC is looking for casual youth football coaches to support the launch of our structured Youth Development Programme for the 2026/27 season.
WCFC has been created for players and families who still love football but need a different kind of environment. We are building a values-led club with clear standards, strong player care, and a development-first approach.
Our first-season delivery will focus on U8-U15 players, with a wider pathway vision from U8 to Senior First Team football.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable, positive and development-minded coaches to support training sessions, matchdays and player development within the WCFC coaching environment.
Depending on experience, availability and suitability, responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering age-appropriate coaching sessions
- Supporting players’ technical, tactical, physical, social and psychological development
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive football environment
- Working within the WCFC EDGE Framework
- Supporting matchday organisation and player care
- Communicating professionally with players, parents and club staff
- Upholding safeguarding, welfare and behaviour standards
- Helping create a club culture where football is for everyone, not just the strongest players

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
