We’re looking for reliable and caring Cat B Delivery Drivers to join a well-established food delivery operation, delivering freshly prepared meals directly to customers in their homes.
This is more than just a driving job. You’ll be delivering meals to elderly and vulnerable customers, so you’ll need to be friendly, patient, and comfortable dealing with people face-to-face.
The role involves multi-drop deliveries, cash collections, and regular interaction with customers, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being out on the road but also likes the customer-facing side of delivery work.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cat B Delivery Driver, your day will include:
- Driving a Cat B vehicle on local delivery routes
- Completing multi-drop meal deliveries
- Delivering meals directly to customers’ homes
- Delivering to elderly customers in a friendly and respectful manner
- Carrying out cash collections when required
- Handling cash responsibly and following company procedures
- Checking deliveries before leaving the depot
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate team
- Following all road safety and company procedures

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for drivers who are reliable, friendly, and responsible.
You’ll Need
- A full Cat B / UK driving licence
- Previous van driving or delivery experience is beneficial
- Good knowledge of local roads
- A professional and friendly manner
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- Confidence dealing with customers face-to-face
- A responsible approach to handling cash
- Patience and a caring attitude when dealing with elderly customers
DBS Check Required
Due to the nature of the role and the customers you’ll be delivering to, a DBS check is required.
You must be comfortable working with elderly customers and understand the importance of providing a reliable, respectful, and professional service.
Driving Licence Requirements
Strict licence criteria apply to this position.
All Drivers Must
- Have no more than 6 penalty points
- Have no DR endorsements
- Have no IN endorsements
- Have no DD endorsements
